Pospo User Data Deletion Instructions

How to disconnect social accounts and request deletion of Meta or future X data associated with Pospo

Pospo lets users connect supported social accounts through the platform's official authorization services. Meta account connections may be available for eligible Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, and Threads profiles, subject to workspace feature availability, account eligibility, and granted permissions. X connection and data processing described below apply only if and when Pospo makes the X integration available.

You can disconnect a supported account or request deletion of data associated with that connection using the instructions below.

Disconnect a connected account

  1. Sign in to Pospo.
  2. Open the relevant workspace.
  3. Select Channels.
  4. Find the connected Facebook, Instagram, or Threads account or, if available in the future, the connected X account.
  5. Select the account's disconnect action and confirm.

Disconnecting makes Pospo's stored authorization unusable and stops new provider access. Previously published posts may remain visible on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or X.

Email support@pospo.ai from the email address associated with your Pospo account with the subject Meta Data Deletion Request.

Include:

  • Your Pospo account email.
  • Your workspace name.
  • The connected Facebook Page, Instagram username, or Threads username.
  • Whether you want to delete only the connected Meta data or your entire Pospo account and workspace data.

Never send your Facebook, Instagram, or Threads password or access token.

We may request additional information to verify that you own or administer the affected Pospo workspace.

If you connected X after the integration becomes available, email support@pospo.ai from the email address associated with your Pospo account with the subject X Data Deletion Request.

Include only the minimum information needed to locate the connection:

  • Your Pospo account email.
  • Your workspace name.
  • The connected X username or handle.
  • Whether you want to delete only the connected X data or your entire Pospo account and workspace data.

Never send your X password, access token, refresh token, Client Secret, API key, authorization code, or any other secret by email. We may request non-secret information needed to verify your identity and authority over the workspace and connected account.

After a supported X account is disconnected, Pospo stops new X API calls and insights synchronization, prevents future unexecuted X publishing tasks from being sent, and deletes or makes unusable the stored access and refresh credentials. Where X provides an applicable revocation mechanism and Pospo has implemented it, Pospo will also attempt provider-side revocation. A provider-side revocation failure does not restore local credential use.

Data covered by the request

Depending on how you use Pospo, the request may cover:

  • Meta access credentials and, for a future X connection, X access and refresh credentials.
  • Facebook Page, Instagram, Threads, and future X account identifiers.
  • Account names, usernames, profile metadata, and granted permissions.
  • Imported Meta or future X content or insights stored by Pospo.
  • Scheduled content and connection-specific publishing records.
  • Other personal data associated with the requested Pospo account.

Processing time

We will acknowledge a verified request and process it within the period required by applicable law and connected-platform rules. We will provide status information or a reference number where available.

Some information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, billing, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Data in encrypted backups may remain until the backups expire under our retention schedule and will not be restored for ordinary use.

Content published on connected services

Deleting information from Pospo does not automatically delete posts already published on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or X. You can delete that content through the applicable platform or use a Pospo deletion feature only where Pospo expressly supports it. Disconnecting X will not delete your X account and will not necessarily delete Posts already published on X.

Deleting data from Pospo also does not delete your Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or X account. The connected platform controls deletion of data held on its own services. Where required by X's applicable policies and supported by the implementation, Pospo will update or remove cached data for X content that is deleted, modified, protected, suspended, or otherwise unavailable.
